If you are a homeowner in BC. You may have already received your BC Assessment in the mail. If not, you can go to their website. https://bcassessment.ca enter your street address and you can see your new value as well as how much you were assessed last year. You can also see how they came up with that value by scrolling down and clicking on "Sample Sold Properties." Many of you will see an increase that reflects the market value increase that we experienced over the past year. This may concern you because the more BC Assessment says your house is worth; the more tax you will pay. If you feel that your assessment doesn't accurately reflect the value of your home you can dispute it by going to this website: https://info.bcassessment.ca/Services-products/appeals . If you want an accurate estimate of what your home could sell for, call your REALTOR® and ask them to provide you with a CMA or click here and provide your details. https://www.c21rockiesrealty.ca/values.php
